State University — The Penn Point out men’s basketball team’s top scorer for the 2020-21 period formally has a new property.
Guard Myreon Jones introduced he’s transferring to Florida in a post on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.
“Next chapter,” Jones wrote above a Gators graphic.
Jones is the third of the Penn Point out players in the transfer portal to locate a new dwelling. Ahead Trent Buttrick introduced before Wednesday he was transferring to Massachusetts, although guard Jamari Wheeler formerly declared he was transferring to Ohio State.

Guard Izaiah Brockington announced he was returning to Penn Point out to engage in for new coach Micah Shrewsberry.

Jones’ departure results in a big complete for the Lions, especially on offense. Jones averaged a group-superior 15.3 points for every game in 25 game titles (24 begins). He scored at least 20 points 6 periods, like 29 at Nebraska in February.

The junior from Birmingham, Ala., joins a Florida crew that went 15-10 and dropped to Oral Roberts in the next round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
