Coral Expeditions, welcomed its latest expedition vessel to the fleet with an intimate ceremony in Cairns yesterday.
Sister ship to previous year’s Coral Adventurer, she has the identical specialised style and design for rugged extended expeditions to remote spots, the organization said.
This new class of expedition ships is developed close to the distinctive Xplorer fast aluminium tender boats, which are released off the back again of the ship to facilitate swift shore excursions.
Owning arrived in Australian waters in mid-March, the vessel has been through an extensive fit-out and provisioning in preparing for her maiden voyage from Cairns.
The arrival brings superior information to the Cairns tourism business with the employment of around 90 new ship and shoreside crew.
